A day after

Her name was Mercedes Gasset and I had to kill her. That was what my boss told me on the 29th.
She was going to a hotel in Lanzanote and I was going to murder her in a cave named The Green Cave.
They told me she had big green eyes, black hair and a perfect body, A truly beautiful woman.
I travelled to Lanzanote. When I reached the hotel, Los Faraones. I went to the loby and there she was, asking for a glass of milk. I told her that if she asked for a glass of wine, I would take her out. She accepted.
We met in a restaurant at night. We talked for a long time. She said her name was Patricia but I did not believe her. I thought she was hiding her real name
We went to my room. The night was long and we had a lot of fun. It was filled with lies and desire. But there was something I did not expect, I liked her. Still, I had to kill her and I drank to drown this feeling.
The following day we went to the green cave. We were with a group of tourist and a guide. In the middle of the excursion I found the perfect place to kill her. I stopped and told her to stay with me for a little while because I wanted to see something.
She agreed and the others kept walking. When they were far enough I took a gun. Despair was in her eyes and she tried to speak. But I shot her before she could. I carried her body to a corner and left it there. Nobody noticed anything.
I stayed the night in the hotel. In the morning I went to the loby. I heard a voice saying she was Mercedes Gasset and I knew it was her real voice, the real one. I thought about Patricia, dead in the cold and dark cave.
I felt angry with Mercedes and decided to kill her that day. There are some things that you cannot leave for another day. She was going to ask for a drink. I told her to ask for a glass of wine. She smiled.
